Accessibility Statement

Updated August 2, 2024.

Commitment to Accessibility

As someone who provides training to web designers and developers on website accessibility and provides accessibility services through my client-based business, I need to practice what I preach. I have gone to great lengths to make the website accessible and in compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA and good usability practices.

I have added features to prevent content loading issues when JavaScript is disabled.

I have contacted some developers about accessibility issues with their plugins. Several have resolved those issues at my request. Otherwise, where I am able, I edit the code myself.

Some Known Issues

I am checking all documents created years ago and replacing them with accessible versions.

Some elements of the Articulate Storyline courses linked to from this website are not accessible. The live courses have been updated to resolve these issues, but these example courses have not.

Testing

I perform periodic ongoing manual accessibility tests and testing with assistive technology.
